Liz Saint John interviews three guests every Sunday morning covering a variety of issues and topics. She talks with representatives from Bay Area non-profit organizations, documentary filmmakers, authors, and professors.
1. Kristine Barnett, author of “Spark: A Mother’s Story of Nurturing Genius,” talks about her son Jacob’s autism and how she provided him with the opportunities to learn and explore the things he liked…and how that course of action helped Jacob become the 15 year old he is today, a graduate student in physics, well on his way to an amazing career!
2. John Martin, Director of the San Francisco International Airport, talks about the current capitol campaign that’s bringing thousands of jobs to the airport, the new control tower, the new luxury hotel, the busy summer travel season, the latest security programs, and the airport museum.
3. Save the Waves Coalition is holding its annual Life is a Wave fundraiser on June 14th at 111 Minna Gallery to benefit the organization that works to protect sensitive surfing coastal areas around the world. Dean La Tourette is a past president of the organization and a current board member. Mark Massara is an environmental lawyer and surfer. They talk about Save the Waves and this year’s event honoree, Jack O’Neill.
